In connection with Stereo Ski's venture into the international market, we needed a logistics partner outside of Norway. There we found a good match with Vätterleden Logistik AB outside Gothenburg as our logistics partner. Vätterleden Logistik has been really helpful while we are expanding our warehouse. We have used Vätterleden as a buffer storage and replenished items that are about to run out from our own warehouse. They have been flexible with both goods receipt and storage and there has never been any problem in meeting our needs, even at short notice. The location in Landvetter suited us very well with a maximum of 30 minutes to our central warehouse. This has meant that we have been able to make call-offs on many pallets to replenish our warehouse within 24 hours of placing an order.

There were several reasons why we chose Vätterleden, but primarily because the location of their warehouse was logistically wonderful for us as most of our goods come to the Port of Gothenburg. It reduced the shipping time to our warehouse.
And that 80% of our customers are located in a belt from the west to the east coast where we reach all of these within a couple of hours. Another reason was the sustainability aspect as our truck transports were reduced by a number of hundreds of kilometers per year through changing warehouses. Another factor is of course the proximity to the airport if we are going to send goods out by air, which can happen sometimes.
